For our Feedback on Alignment and Support for Teachers (FAST) Study, we are using teacher surveys and logs based on the Surveys of Enacted Curriculum (SEC). They measure instruction at the intersection of specific topics and levels of cognitive demand. C-SAIL revised the SEC in the fall of 2015 to include content that is more reflective of current state college- and career-readiness standards.

In 2015 alone, state legislators introduced over 770 bills concerning academic standards. By the end of the year, 14% (170 of 1,209) of the total number of enacted or adopted education legislation specifically addressed college- and career-readiness standards.To make sense of the ebb and flow of CCR standards from 2011, C-SAIL provides this summary table.
